Nearby police stations located in the Seoul districts of Mapo and Seodaemun are usually compared to each other and, consequently, has developed a rivalry. The chief at the Mapo police station is Hwang Jae-Sung (Park Joong-Hoon), who is fearless when it comes to catching criminals & uses any means necessary. To top the Mapo station, the Seodaemun police station appoints its new leader Jung Wei-Chan (Lee Sun-Gyun). Jung Wei-Chan graduated from the prestigious police academy.

An award for “officer of the year” is given out to the officer able to apprehend the most criminals. The award also comes with a 30 million Won cash prize.

Hwang Jae-Sung wants to receive the award as he wants a promotion and did not graduate from the police university. Jung Wei-Chan also badly wants to win the award for the prize money involved – his girlfriend is pregnant. For this award the two rivals compete even more fiercely. A serial rapist case then occurs causing both stations to work together. The outcome hangs in the air

In 1950, residents in a rural village hears rumors of a war. One day, while the villagers are busily preparing for the wedding of the village leader’s granddaughter Sul-Hee, a high level North Korean officer Kim Jung-Woong and his troops appear in front of the villagers. The soldiers appear to be ready to takeover the village, but the residents seem elated that the soldiers have arrived. Jae-Chun welcomes the soldiers passionately and Mr. Baek helps the soldiers. The kind village leader and the warmhearted villagers disarm the soldiers. But, all of these actions taken by the villages are part of a calculated and shred strategy to preserve their own safety.

Some 2000 years ago, the “Chun Bo Kyung” existed which was a scripture covering reasons for governing the world. There was an old legend that if someone held the “Chun Bo Kyung,” they would become the most powerful person in the world. Because of this legend, evil forces attempted to retrieve the “Chun Bo Kyung.” A Buddhist monk, Son Oh-Gong, Jeo Pal-Gye and Sa Oh-Jung faught against these evil forces. The monk, Son Oh-Gong, Jeo Pal-Gye and Sa Oh-Jung won the battle and sealed the evil forces in the gourd of a bottle.

In the present day Seoul, South Korea, the relic of Son Oh-Gong, Jeo Pal-Gye, Sa Oh-Jung and the Buddhist monk is found on a construction site. The sealing of the gourd bottle is released in the process. The evils forces arise some 2000 years after their initial confinement and begin to wreak havoc on the world. Son Oh-Gong is the only one who can stop them. Scientists extract DNA from the relic of Son Oh-Gong, Jeo Pal-Gye, Sa Oh-Jung and the Buddhist monk to revive them.

Pada saat ini hari Seoul, Korea Selatan, peninggalan Putra Oh-Gong, Jeo Pal-Gye, Sa Oh-Jung dan biarawan Budha ditemukan di situs konstruksi. Penyegelan botol labu dilepaskan dalam proses. Pasukan kejahatan timbul beberapa 2000 tahun setelah kurungan awal mereka dan mulai melampiaskan malapetaka di dunia. Oh Anak-Falun adalah satu-satunya yang bisa menghentikan mereka. “The Ghost Must Be Crazy” has two different stories entitled “The Day Off” and “The Ghost Bride”. In “The Day Off”, Ah Nan (John Cheng) and Ah Lei (Wang Lei) goes for their annual in-camp training and they meet a very “on” Platoon Commander. As they’re about to play a prank on the Commander as a form of revenge for all the rigorous training they had to put up with, a series of strange things happen. In “Ghost Bride”, Ah Hui (Henry Thia) who is unlucky in love meets a stranger, Ah Hai (Mark Lee), who promises him fortune and blessings if he seeks help from ‘brothers and sisters’ in the netherworld. Ah Hui does so and ends up finding a beautiful jade bangle inside a red packet. Soon after, Ah Hui strikes the lottery, but spends it all lavishly. Just when he is down in the dumps again, Ah Hai offers him another solution and something strange happens.

English Review

Corrupt detective Han Jong-sik (Kim Seung-woo) takes care of a gang and gets kickbacks to save his daughter. One day he gets news from the organ transplant coordinator that they have found a heart for his daughter (kim Sae-ron). However, he finds out the donor is magician Na Sang-man (Son Byeong-ho) who he put false charges over and was in jail.

Sang-man lost his young daughter and wife and became a vegetative state himself. Jong-sik guesses he wouldn’t allow the transplant so he plans a way to get rid of him. Just as Sang-man is about to go over in the hands of a gang and get surgery, he realizes the plan and disappears with Jong-sik’s daughter.
